DESCRIPTION

Pollution is getting worse daily on a global scale if there is no mitigation initiative. Pollution not only brings harmful effects towards Mother Earth but may also lead to severe health effects towards living beings after prolonged exposure, thus reducing the overall quality of life. One of the main contributions towards global pollution is the one-time usage of various products, which leads to the worsening issue of landfilling. Even though various campaigns to encourage the recycling of waste products are spreading worldwide, it is undeniable that this is not a permanent solution as it will only delay the inevitable disposal. Therefore, finding sustainable ways to solve landfill problems is crucial globally. One of the methods is to use natural and sustainable resources or reutilize waste products to mitigate the global pollution issue, especially landfilling. This section encourages researchers to publish their ideas, experimental, computational, and theoretical research on utilizing natural and sustainable resources and valorizing waste products to extend their life cycle. Manuscripts discussing novel research, new methods, techniques, and theories related to using natural and sustainable resources and reutilizing waste products for application in various disciplines are welcome.
